Cottages
Glensone and Pitcairns cottages are 18th century
traditionally built self-catering holiday cottages,
situated in the picturesque village of Glencaple,
Dumfries & Galloway. Both of our cottages
have been refurbished to an excellent standard.
The two cottages enjoy stunning uninterrupted views
of the river Nith and Criffel, and are ideally
situated for a relaxing and luxurious break in the
country. For the outdoor enthusiast, we are
well placed for cycling, golfing, walking, fishing
and many other leisure activities.
 Glencaple is located on the Nith
Estuary, one of only forty National Scenic Areas,
recognised for their outstanding scenic
interest. The county town of
Dumfries is just
a few miles away, and the cities of Glasgow,
Edinburgh and Carlisle are within reasonable driving
distance.
